After a set that got the audiences cranked, it was time for the Balkun Brothers.

Steve took the time to welcome people and introduce the band.

Great show by the Balkun Bros and Shaka and the Soul Shakers. Give Dom credit for promoting the show and bringing 20 family and friends. It was fun sitting next to Dom’s sister , whose enthusiasm is contagious. Looking forward to seeing her at the Blues Blizzard.

  2. Thanks Ed, most of the young family members are Southington or Wolcott so Waterbury was a natural to get them out. I hope to get them out again.

What a great night!! Shaka and the SoulShakers ALWAYS deliver and I had never seen the Balkun Brothers before, but OMG, powerful performance!! Great to be sitting with both my brother and Ed and Lynn!! I was at a VIP table. And having my cousins there enjoying it was just the icing on the cake!! Looking forward to the Blizzard in March. (The event, not the actual snow. haha!!)
