Okay, so this blog catches up on the week to date. Been busy and fun.
Wednesday is the open Mic at Blue Plate Tavern. Mitch Leighton keeps the evening moving.
A group called Mauve LLoyd did some really good Pink Floyd.
The crowd and an unexpected visitor.
Also I met up with some of my PHS classmates.
Thursday it was back to the Shamrock Bar & Grill for the Boogie Boys with guest guitarist Petey Hop.

Buzzy and Nick get some of the light show.
Now Friday was the road trip to Vincent’s in Worcester. Night Train was playing. The band and the meatball sandwiches are the reason for going. It is a fine spot with an easy going crowd. You could not tell by looking at the place but a lot of couples are in attendance. It is not your typical uppie dating bar but a place where people are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming.
This night Jeff handled guitar and vocals,
Mike on drums and Brad on bass.
Brad joined in on some harmonizing and Nancy guested on a couple of songs.
It is a cozy spot. You are right up to the band. And now in the warm weather, there is a patio.
Before getting to Vincent’s, we did a little visit to the city. Drove by some old haunts and spent time at Jelly’s looking over CDs and vinyl.

The Station has been remodeled and some upscale features added.
My friend Dave on the train platform. The MBTA runs into Worcester and you can get out to Logan Airport.
