Infinity Hall Hartford had a fine night Saturday as they brought in two entertaining acts. Sharing the stage was Kal David and Lauri Bono and the Real Deal. After they performed it was Savoy Brown led by Kim Simmonds. These are two good acts that alone would be a great night out.
After Kal David And Lauri Bono, it was time to get back to my seat for Savoy Brown.
There were fans with a knowledge that seemed to go back to the beginnings.
Besides the playing Kim gave some history to the songs and some personal stories. He is in his 50th year of professional playing. And he too had a new CD for after the show.
He showed no mercy with the guitar. Stirring up the audience.
He also went to an acoustic.
Then when he tired a little of guitar, he hit some harmonica.
Pat gave us a little variety on bass.
For an encore he brought out Dennis who played with him in the past.
A fine show, Kim looked younger and played with a lot of passion.
