Well here it is already Friday am and I have got to finish up Wednesday. I can tell Thursday had a lot of blues. If you don’t hear enough you are not doing your job. You here bands wherever you go. Not to mention that many CDs are for sale.
After the lunch and Solo/Duo, it is time to move down Beale to catch the Mighty Soul Drivers. I be putting up some pictures with no names becauseI was not around for the introductions.
Venue for the Mighty Soul Drivers
These guys were on as I entered.

Rockin’ the house
Lighting in the venues varied so do my pictures.
I am now heading to Wet Willie’s to see the Bridget Kelly Band. I met Bridget and husband at the BMAs.
Stopped by to say hello to Terri who was taking her judging work seriously. Terri is a longtime Blues Foundation supporter and excellent stained glass artist. Her work is in the Blues Hall of Fame.
Now it was time for the band.
The best smile on Beale.
The Australian singer takes a photo.
Outside I met a Cajun friend from last year.
Now it is off to see Ramblin’ Dan Stevens and Clayton Allen.
From outside Alfred’s as I went up the street:
Now at Club 152, I got the chance to hear a lot of Solo/Duo. Styles and voices varied.
I tried an artistic shot.
Paul Benjamin Blues Foundation Chairman was visiting the venues and introducing the new The new Foundation CEO, Barbara Newman.
So that finished my Wednesday. More to come!!!
