Five bands competed for the opportunity to represent the state in Memphis at the International Blues Challenge.
All the competing bands gave excellent performances.  The audience was treated to a cross-section of blues styles.  and they delivered inspiring sets.  The Coffee Grinders delivered a strong set of acoustic blues , Chicago and Texas Blues from Carl Ricci & 706 Union Ave, the soulful / sexy vocals from Kelly Rago of Easy Baby and  exciting showmanship from the Rich Badowski Blues Band.  Finishing the day with the Danny Draher Band.

Good coverage of the Challenge. Each band excelled in the style of blues they represented. The Danny Draher Band probably won based on their overall professionalism.

Great job to everyone involved with the CT Blues Challenge – I am looking forward to 2017
