Just a quick look at Sunday. I decided to post on the music and will do another with the sights of the NABF.
Sunday morning was a heavy rain.
That did not stop the show as the Alexis P. Suter Band hit the stage at 11 am.
When Alexis finished, the sun was starting to come thru. One thing you need to know, rain or shine here in Rockland, the blues fans are coming out.
Mike Zito and the Wheel followed,
Now was time for Johnny Sansone Deep Mud Review.
Joining him was Big Chief Monk Boudreaux.
Don’t forget Johnny and the band are a New Orleans group.
Guitar master Ronnie Earl came on. At this point I decided to go way up into the crowd and let the telephotolens do most of the work. Sound was good and I got a great overview.
The closing act was Elvin Bishop. Always fun and entertaining.
He ended by having a jam with all the players coming up. The day turned out fine as the sun dried us out. I will post a “fest sights” blog next with some of the vacation photos.
