The Stafford Springs Blues Festival was held in spacious Hyde Park, same place, new location in the park. Had the makings of a natural amphitheatre, plenty of room for fans, vendors, and blues groups.
As people arrived at the Festival, The Coffee Grinders were welcoming them.
The Festival headliner was Albert Cummings. The blues started at 10:30 am with The Kosher Kid & the Incredible Amplifires. Other bands include The Mike Crandall Band, Neal & the Vipers, Joanne Shaw Taylor, and Josh Scussell & the Electric Storm.
Holly Harris of WUMB was the emcee.

Looking down on the Fest was some amazing Blues Fest artwork. Ali Blair provided the canvas and doing some of the artwork. Helping on the project were Donna Gypsy Reed, Jen Lee and the Stafford Arts Commission. The canvasses are all safe and sound until next year’s Blues Fest!
Ali also did a little camera work as she caught me kickin’ back and enjoying the blues.
Josh Scussell & the Electric Storm
Ed Stack joined in on the side stage.
What is the Blues without a few Bikes. TSI has been a sponsor since the first Festival.
