It is the 25th year of Blues in the Poconos. Always a good time as people from all over attend. The BluesBeatNews Blog will cover the acts in three posts, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Then, two more for the evening concerts. With so many things going on, I am adding another Blog to cover the people I saw. Using my 500 mm lens I also took a number of crowd shots. Friday from 8 pm to midnight, it is Mikey Junior’s Blues Revue. Always exciting and fast paced, it is a fun start to the weekend.

An evening surprise was the appearance of Ronnie Earl. He was scheduled for a Master Class on Saturday and to close the Fest on Sunday. He came in and shared the stage with some of the earlier players and hung in for the closing jam.
Well Mikey, Jr again kept us entertained for 5 hours with around 40 musicians taking part.
