Pennsylvania Blues Fest – Saturday night

_dsc9940-2

It is the 25th year of Blues in the Poconos.  Always a good time as people from all over attend.  The BluesBeatNews Blog will cover the acts in three posts, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Then, two more for the evening concerts.  With so many things going on, I am adding another Blog to cover the people I saw.  Using my 500 mm lens I also took a number of crowd shots.  The Main Stage and a comfortable seat kept me away from the Tent Stage but I will list the acts.

Ok so the acts on the Main Stage and Tent stage are done but that doesn’t mean the music is over.  We are on our way to the Split Rock for some more.

First up was Beareather Reddy.

She brought us songs of some of the black female blues singers from the Classic Blues Era 1920-1930’s, including costume changes.

Next up was Zac Harmon.  The band had plenty of energy even after its time on the Main Stage.

Now it seems Texas Slim and I have a mutual friend in Dallas, HashBrown.  So we enlisted one of the audience to take the shot to send him.
