It is the 25th year of Blues in the Poconos. Always a good time as people from all over attend. The BluesBeatNews Blog will cover the acts in three posts, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Then, two more for the evening concerts. With so many things going on, I am adding another Blog to cover the people I saw. Using my 500 mm lens I also took a number of crowd shots. The Main Stage and a comfortable seat kept me away from the Tent Stage but I will list the acts.
Well the blues is what the festival is about and you can see we were well entertained. In fact more than I could take in. So the line-up often gets you there but is the people that get you to return. It is like you meet a few new people every year if you continue going.
This Blog is just pictures of some of my sights from the Fest. Half the fun is exchanging stories and talking about the blues.
Why is this guy smiling? If you were at the Fest you would know why. Michael does many tasks as well as meet and greet.
The event is kid friendly.
There is always a splash of color.
Smiles and people just having fun.
Were we being watched or did Aliens come by?
Shirts are plentiful, many telling us something.
Plenty of picture taking going on. These four always have time to exchange thoughts with me.
Another busy guy is Henry Tate, kind of the Festival Ambassador. He is on stage, making presentations, in the crowd and most of all having fun.
Some friends thru the days.
Paul and Jean. We met here 20 years ago. And now I also hit their North Atlantic Blues Festival each year.
