One of my stops is BB Kings for a meal.    A high school classmate and friend who talked blues with me, worked as an architect on the renovation of the building.

BORN ON THE BAYOU SHRIMP & GRITS – Tasso ham, garlic, Cajum spices, fresh okra and gulf shrimp sauteed and served on a bed of white cheddar cheese grits and finished with fresh diced tomatoes nope replaced with sliced  jalapenos.

As the weather got warmer on Saturday, there was a chance to meet some friends.  One of my yearly visits is with Bobby “Black Hat”  Walters.

Then it was off to the finals.

On stage solo/duo and bands.

I was pleased with these shots because I was using a pocket size point and shoot from the 3rd tier.

Memphis also celebrated Dr King and remembers his interaction with the city.
